Reimagining the relationship of proximity to one's neighbors and community in a vertical urban context. Voids collect at the centers of the two towers to form a series of shifting facades and balconies, bringing people closer together or farther apart. Four bent community and commercial spaces reach from tower to tower, forming bridges, lofty interior spaces, a theatre, and a series of roof gardens looking out over the city. At the base, an open air metro station looks up in between the towers and two commercial wings. Voids along its periphery create a meandering processions through shops, restaurants, and businesses. Park-side, the base pulls back to allow space for the neighborhood's bustling markets and access to the public roof gardens on the commercial wings. A lively community is given an infrastructure they need and deserve, suitable to their outgoing culture.
